Phillip and Stephen are the perfect people to spend the day with. I was shown around Philadelphia’s greatest sections while documenting their love for each other. We started in South Philadelphia and hit up the Italian Market. After that, we snapped some shots in an artistic alley and tree lined street, all before finishing up at Waterworks and the Philadelphia Art Museum. We had a special surprise at the museum…Phillip and Stephen got to pose in front of Robert Indiana’s art piece AMOR. The famous letters were fashioned in the Spanish/Latin version of the sculpture, LOVE. AMOR was created in 1998, in response to the changing demographics of the United States and a desire to speak to his fellow citizens. The sculpture was a perfect backdrop for this already photogenic couple. For more pictures from their session please visit For Real Equality Weddings blog. We cannot wait to photograph Phillip and Stephen’s upcoming May wedding!
