If it’s good luck to have something borrowed on your wedding day, then Kate and Christian will be blessed with tons of luck! The laid back couple borrowed fan favorite aspects from their favorite show ‘How I Met Your Mother’, and even sprinkled quotes throughout the readings in their outdoor ceremony. Kate and Christian’s outdoor ceremony was set in a natural amphitheater with their vows taking place canter stage. The stage was decked with handmade crafts that the couple had worked on throughout the year. The rustic touches of the backdrop mimicked the natural wood and style of the park. The lovely couple’s fantastic wedding day had a very inspiring vibe with a modern bucolic twist. That unique, easy going style of the day lasted into the night. Double Nickel Brewing Company located in Pennsauken, New Jersey housed their down home reception, complete with a local food truck provided by Jeremiah’s Mobile Concessions and a savory BBQ style buffet provided by Mission BBQ in Deptford, NJ ! The crowd of lively quests cheered on as Kate and Christian boogied down to their high energy entrance song ‘Do You Love Me’ by The Contours, a song with cult status thanks to ‘Dirty Dancing’. Nestled between factory walls and illuminated vats of beer was a packed dance floor where the couple stayed front and center all night, something we rarely see at weddings! These two really know how to get down and had an eclectic playlist with great throwback tunes. Their reception was fun filled and set to great Soul and Rock & Roll tunes, not to mention a pretty intense cake cutting. Kate and Christian’s vivacious, effervescent personalities brought a special energy to their wedding day, the same energy that made their engagement session remarkable. We were eagerly awaiting their wedding day and it lived up well beyond our expectations. Thank you to Kate and Christian for having such a great day to document, we wish you the best and know you will keep the excitement going during your future together!
