Erica and Matthew wanted a Getting To Know You session that would reflect the early days of their relationship as well are their current interests as a couple. Our session started with snapping a few photos in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, Erica’s old neighborhood. Erica and Matthew filled us in on how they met and told us some great stories. We followed the couple down Fairmount’s tree lined streets, and ended up in the spot where they first met. We couldn’t pass on capturing a moment inside Urban Saloon, a western themed bar where Erica and Matthew met–on trivia night! Our next stop was just outside of the city limits, at the beautiful Corinthian Yacht Club. The yacht club is home to Matthew’s boat and also served as the perfect location for sunset photos. We loved shooting the playful and candid interaction between Erica and Matthew, which included dancing, dipping and lots of laughing! After playing around a bit, Erica and Matthew relaxed on the boat as waves rolled in and clouds drifted by. It was a truly beautiful moment that we were thrilled to photograph. The emotions were real and Delaware river backdrop was amazing, it was all we needed to end the perfect session!
