Chalfonte Hotel wedding photographer
Settled in Colonial times by fisherman and whalers, Cape May is America’s oldest shore resort. Henry Hudson was the first to document Cape May in 1609.
Calvin and Susie Satterfield, purchased the Chalfonte Hotel in 1910. They ran the hotel until 1929, and their son, Calvin Satterfield and his wife, Mary Minor Morris took over. Calvin Jr. passed away in 1941 and Mary then took over with help of lifelong friend, Martha Nash, until 1982. Mary’s portrait now hangs in the lobby as a reminder of the amazing legacy of the hotel.
It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony that was followed by drinks and savory southern cuisine. The party lasted well into the night. Fun highlights included a spectacular live band The Wedding Crashers . The wedding was a gathering of families and countless friends. The wedding was a memorable event filled with vibrant beautiful colors and emotional moments to be remembered forever.
